早いもので、師走となりました。新しい年を迎える準備に何かとお忙しいことと存じます。皆様、お元気でしょうか。益々、ご活躍のことと存じます。

2017年も神戸大学国際教育総合センター（旧留学生センター）は、皆様方卒業生と神戸大学をつなげ、ともに研究や仕事で協力していくことを目指しております。

まことにうれしいことには、2016年9月にカンボジアで海外第14番目の同窓会が発足しました。また10月にはカンボジア同窓会からメイ・カリアン会長をお招きし、第13回留学生ホームカミングデイで、武田学長から同窓会旗の授与を執り行い在校生に披露することができましたことが、印象に残っております。海外に広がる神戸大学のネットワークは、教育研究の挑戦を支える重要な役割を担っており、今後とも皆様のご協力、ご支援を賜りますよう、お願い申し上げます。

皆様がご健勝、ご多幸でありますよう、心からお祈り申し上げます。よいお年をお迎えください。

The month of December, a busy time for us all, as expressed in the Japanese name ‘Shiwasu’ is upon us.  I hope that you are all well and healthy as we move towards the end of the year.

Kobe University Center for International Education (formerly International Student Center) will continue to develop new projects that match the challenges of this global age, enhancing our global network, with you our international graduates. I’m very pleased to announce that in September 2016 the Kobe University Alumni Association in Cambodia was launched in Phnom Penh. In October we held the 13th “Kobe University International Home Coming Day”, where President Takeda attended a ceremony to present the official flag of the new Alumni Association to Dr. Mey Kalyan, the Founding President of the Alumni Association in Cambodia.

I would like to take this opportunity to graciously ask for your continued support and cooperation, which we recognize as a vital part of our challenge to widen the Kobe University network, both in Japan and overseas.

I would like to wish you all a Happy New Year.
